Lexington police continue to investigate after two reports of shots fired Sunday afternoon. The first call came in just after 3:30 from Winburn Drive. Woman Charged with Robbery

Lexington police have charged a woman accused of robbing a hotel. Police say Kristen Welte, 28, walked into the Comfort Inn and Suites on Buena Vista Road on Aug. 4 and handed the clerk a note demanding “give me all money.” According to the arrest citation, she used pepper spray during the robbery.
