Fire damaged a recently renovated home in Jessamine County early this morning.

Firefighters responded to a house on Keene Troy Pike just after 3 a.m. They say there were heavy flames in the garage when crews arrived. The fire extended into the attic area, but firefighter managed to keep it from spreading into the home itself.

The garage sustained significant damage.

Firefighters say nobody was living in the home. An investigator will try to determine the cause of the fire later today.
