Lexington police continue to investigate after two reports of shots fired Sunday afternoon.

The first call came in just after 3:30 from Winburn Drive. Witnesses told police that several shots were fired from a white passenger car. Officers found multiple shell casings in the area, as well as a bullet hole in a car window. Police say witnesses described the suspects as juveniles. Almost exactly one hour later, officers were called to East New Circle near the Eastland Parkway area. Witnesses told investigators there that a red passenger vehicle opened fire towards another vehicle on New Circle Road. A woman caught in the middle of the gunfire pulled over into the El Malecon parking lot to call 911. No one was injured in either incident.
