Lexington police are investigating after  a man was shot at several times around 9:15 Tuesday night. They think the victim was shot on Whitney Avenue, about four blocks from where police found him on Michigan Avenue. Officers found the man with a single gunshot wound to his leg who appeared to have been riding a moped. He was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Investigators say the victim is in his early 20’s and was alert at the scene but was not giving them any information.
