Friends and family are mourning after the death of a Madison County man killed by floodwaters on Tuesday. Eugene Wren's co-workers at Everybody's Auto Sales in Lexington are raising money to cover his funeral costs. They set up a memorial and fund inside, wanting to help in any way they can.
On Tuesday afternoon a neighbor on Paint Lick Road in Madison County noticed Wren's car in a swollen creek. When rescuers arrived, no one was inside the car. After hours of searching, the body of the beloved 42-year old father was finally found.
