Fisherman Rescued

Emergency crews rescued a fisherman after his boat got hung on the edge of a dam in Scott County early Tuesday morning. Firefighters were called to Great Crossing Park, along North Elkhorn Creek, around 2 a.m. and found a boat stuck on a log with the front end dangling over the edge of a dam. Crews put a rescue boat in the water and got the man off the stranded vessel. They later managed to pull his boat off of the dam. Firefighters say the man was fishing, got disoriented in the dark, and ended up stranded. The fisherman was not hurt.
