Fire destroyed a home in Jessamine County early Friday morning. The fire broke out inside a house along Daniel Boone Road, near the Kentucky River, around 1:30 a.m. Firefighters say the home was engulfed in flames when they arrived. Charlie Hall said he had family visiting, and about 10 people were inside the house when the fire broke out, including children. Everybody made it out safely, although Hall suffered a burn to his arm. Officials say the cause of the fire remains undetermined.
