Circle K Held Up

A man robbed a Lexington gas station twice within a few minutes early Monday morning. Police say a man with a bandana over his face walked in to the Circle K Shell on Pimlico Parkway around 2:15 a.m., implied he had a weapon and demanded money. He left with an undisclosed amount of cash, but came back just a few minutes later and told the clerk to give him cigarettes. The employee handed over the smokes, and the suspect left the area in a dark colored SUV. The clerk was not hurt. Police say they hope video surveillance will provide some leads.
