Man Charged in Murder

Lexington Police have charged a man in connection with the beating death of an elderly man earlier this month.  John Tully was found bleeding outside Old Farm Apartments on July 11th.  He later died at UK Hospital.  Investigators say 32 year old Corey Etherington has been in jail since the day after the attack on unrelated charges.  Police say Etherington assaulted his grandmother at her home last year.  He had to be tased by officers.  They say he hit an officer at the jail the next day.
