(LEX 18) —  A Lexington business was evacuated Monday morning due to a confirmed ammonia leak at a plant on Lexington’s northwest side.

Fire officials responded after 6 a.m. to 3M Ceradyne, a facility on 695 Laco Drive. Officials confirmed the leak was ammonia, but the area has now been cleared.
